It’s a great time for jailbreakers. With iOS 6 and the next iPhone right around the corner, it’s never been a more exciting time to for the iOS jailbreak community. If you’re into jailbreaking, you’ll be pleased to know that the world’s first jailbreak convention is headed to San Francisco, California this September, and I’ll be there representing Cult of Mac.
We’ve already given you initial details about JailbreakCon 2012, and now the full convention schedule has been posted for all to see. The lineup of speakers and workshop leaders includes some of the premiere members of the jailbreak community, including the hackers that are already working on a jailbreak for iOS 6.

Josh M. Tucker – iOS Concept artist and former writer for ModMyi
Carsten Heinelt – Developer of the popular file management package, iFile
Chronic Development Team – Creator of Greenpoi0sn and Absinthe jailbreak tools
pod2g – French iOS security researcher, helped create iOS 5 jailbreak
ih8sn0w + Notcom – iOS developers and researchers responsible for Sn0wbreeze and Tiny Umbrella respectively
NitoTV – Apple TV Jailbreak legend
Ryan Petrich – Hardest working man in the jailbreak community. Creator of multiple essential Cydia offerings.
Jaywalker – iOS security specialist
Jay Freeman – Creator of Cydia and owner of SaurikIT LLC
Dustin Howett – Creator of theos and involved in CyDelete and Safari Download Manager packages
pimskeks – iOS developer and hacker, member of the Chronic Dev Team
Other members of the community, including legendary designer Surenix and tweak developer Filippo Bigarella, will be in attendance. The convention will take place on Saturday, September 28th at the South San Francisco Convention Center. Tickets are on sale now, and anyone can attend.
