Release dates for new seasons of hit Apple TV+ shows like Severance and Slow Horses are in the news, and now we can add Silo to that list — maybe. The show’s stars and producers will discuss season 2 details at San Diego Comic-Con July 27, Apple TV+ said Friday. And a release date — and maybe more, like a trailer — will probably come out of that panel discussion.

Silo season 2 details coming at San Diego Comic-Con July 27

So Apple TV+ said the hit sci-fi series Silo will makes its make its San Diego Comic-Con debut on Saturday, July 27, “for a panel and conversation around what fans can look forward to in the highly anticipated second season” of the show, based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy. As with recent news of new season start dates for Severance and Slow Horses, the Comic-Con event could naturally include a season 2 release date for Silo, plus other tantalizing details about what could happen on the show.

Here’s more detail from Apple TV+:

The panel will feature Silo star and executive producer Rebecca Ferguson, star Common, creator and showrunner Graham Yost and executive producer Hugh Howey, plus surprise special guests. The panel will be moderated by Adam Savage (Editor-in-Chief, Tested.com).

Silo is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.
