Belkin rolled out a new portable 2-in-1 charger Thursday that should suit people who travel a lot or work in different places, like hybrid employees, because it’s both a wall charger and a power bank. It’s the Belkin BoostCharge Hybrid Wall Charger 25W + Power Bank 5K, great for keeping devices like iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch going.
It’s set to start shipping on Valentine’s Day, February 14. And no, we’re not saying it’s a romantic gift idea.

Belkin BoostCharge Hybrid Wall Charger and Power Bank
Belkin calls its BoostCharge Hybrid Wall Charger 25W + Power Bank 5K “the perfect travel companion.”
“It’s a super-compact portable charger that features a USB-C and USB-A charging ports,” the company said. “Use it as a power bank as you’re on-the-go and a wall charger when back at your hotel. The integrated PD3.0 PPS technology provides safe high-speed charging to almost all USB and PD-enabled devices.”
The BoostCharge Hybrid lets you charge one USB-C and one USB-A device at the same time, like iPhone and Apple Watch. And as a wall charger, it can fast charge with 25-watt USB-C PD3.0 PPS and as a power bank it pushes 20W. Belkin said it provides 19 hours of battery life and can charge an iPhone 14 from empty to 50% capacity in 25 minutes.
Belkin noted the charger is compliant with airline safety standards, so you should be able to use it on planes without any problems.
