Chipolo introduced the “Perfectly Imperfect” limited edition collection of its Card Spot wallet tracker. Although slightly flawed in appearance, each unit is fully functional — like so many of us.

The tracker uses Apple’s Find My network, which means iPhone, Mac and iPad users can locate it without having to install any software from Chipolo.

New Chipolo tracker is ‘Perfectly Imperfect’

“Through this campaign, we want to inspire a shift in perspective, encouraging people to embrace their imperfections and recognize the real beauty in what makes each of us irreplaceable,” said Primož Zelenšek, Co-founder and CEO at Chipolo.

Each of 10,000 limited edition Perfectly Imperfect Card Spot wallet finders, though bearing minor cosmetic flaws, functions seamlessly.

For every wallet finder in the special edition sold, Chipolo will donate $1 to three selected non-profit organizations: The Global Mental Health Peer Network, The Aid Community for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Austria and VDC Zasavje — a public social welfare institution in Slovenia.

The product is also a commitment to sustainability, as the casings would normally be pitched because of their imperfections.

The announcement was made at CES 2024, and Perfectly Imperfect Card Spot wallet finders just launched on the official Chipolo website. One is $35.

Chipolo Card Spot overview

The Card Spot is the size and shape of a credit card and is designed to be tucked into a wallet.

As noted, it uses Apple’s Find My application, just as AirTag does. Open that app to have it play an audible alarm. The software can also show the tracker on a map — whether it’s in your bedroom or in London.
