Apple’s online store down a few hours ahead of the WWDC23 opening keynote. The Cupertino company could announce several new hardware products at the event.

Alongside the 15-inch MacBook Air and new Mac Studio, Apple will also unveil iOS 17, iPadOS 17 and watchOS 10.

New Apple hardware incoming at WWDC23

It is typical of Apple to take down its online store ahead of major hardware launches. While WWDC was primarily about Apple’s software efforts, the company has recently used its yearly developer conference to launch new hardware.

At WWDC22, the company announced the redesigned M2 MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro. This year, Apple could unveil the 15-inch MacBook Air. It should retain the same specs as its 13-inch sibling, with the bigger display being the only significant change. Battery life should also get a boost due to the bigger chassis.

There are also rumors of a refreshed Mac Studio with M2 Max and Ultra chips debuting at the event.

It is possible Apple could start accepting pre-orders for the new Macs right after the opening keynote of WWDC23.

Apple’s long-rumored AR/VR headset might also debut at WWDC later today. However, there’s no clarity if the headset will be up for sale after the event. You can go through our WWDC23 roundup to get an idea of what to expect from Apple’s blockbuster keynote.

Watch WWDC23 live

Alongside the new hardware, Apple will announce iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10 and macOS 14 at the event. While these operating systems won’t be out for the public before September, Apple should seed their developer betas later today.

Apple is live streaming WWDC23’s opening keynote so that you can catch all the action live from the comfort of your couch. The keynote starts at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET.
