The 2021 14-inch M1 Pro MacBook Pro with added memory is a popular choice, and Friday you can get a configuration with 32GB of RAM for about $300 less than usual prices at Woot!, owned by Amazon.

The configuration is a winner because folks know you can’t easily add integrated memory later to most Macs, so why settle for the base 16GB for that model?

Beware, though, the sale ends just after midnight in Saturday’s wee hours.

Hours left on Woot! sale: About $300 of 14-inch 2021 MacBook Pro with 32GB RAM

Woot’s sale look like it ends at about 1 a.m. PT Saturday (January 28), as the product pages showed 11 hours left at about 2:15 p.m. PT Friday. So act fast.

The model in question is a 2021 14-inch M1 Pro MacBook Pro in space gray. Now that the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models powered by M2 chips are out, prices on older models are coming down.

Here are the specs listed on Woot’s website:

  • Apple M1 Pro Chip powered by 8 cores (6 performance cores, 2 efficiency cores) and a 14-core GPU
  • 14.2-inch widescreen LED-backlit Liquid Retina XDR display — 3024 x 1964 resolution
  • 32 GB RAM

  • 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5
  • Backlit Magic Keyboard with Touch ID sensor
  • Force Touch trackpad
  • (3) Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB-C connector), (1) HDMI 2.0, (1) SDXC-capable SD card slot, (1) 3.5 mm headphone jack, (1) MagSafe 3 power connector.
  • 70 W h Li-Poly Battery (11-17 hours battery life)
  • Mac OS 12.0.1, supports current version

The limit is three laptops per customer, Woot! said. Note that a 1-year Apple warranty and AppleCare eligibility are included. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, APO addresses, or PO Boxes is not available.
