Apple’s new M2 Pro MacBook Pros are already available with a sweet $50 pre-order discount on Amazon. The deal is available on the entry-level 2023 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros.

The discount drops the price of the 14-inch MacBook Pro to $1,949 from $1,999. Similarly, you can get the 16-inch MacBook Pro for $2,449, down from $2,499.

Apple’s new MacBook Pros are faster and last longer the same

Apple’s 2023 MacBook Pro lineup looks similar to the 2021 models. All significant changes are internal and include the switch to a faster M2 Pro/Max chip, speedier Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and longer battery life.

That’s not bad, especially since the new SoCs bring a notable performance uplift. They are also the longest-lasting MacBook Pros Apple has ever released.

The company started accepting pre-orders for the new MacBooks right after their announcement on January 17th. They are scheduled to hit the retail stores on January 24th, 2023.

Pre-order your MacBook Pro now to save $50

Despite the internal improvements, Apple’s 2023 MacBook Pros cost the same as their predecessors in the US. The entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro with 512GB storage and M2 Pro chip costs $1,999. If you pre-order the machine through Amazon, you can get it for $1,949 — a sweet $50 discount. The deal is available on both space gray and silver shades of the machine.

The entry-level 16-inch MacBook Pro is also available with a similar discount. You can place your pre-order for the machine on Amazon for $2,449, $50 off its MSRP. This deal is only available on the space gray color. Amazon will ship your order by January 24th, so you should receive it on launch day or within a few days after that.
