The newly announced OtterBox OtterGrip case offers drop protection for an iPhone, plus a built-in handle. And all this comes without interfering with MagSafe wireless charging.

The product is a CES Innovations Award honoree.

Over the years, OtterBox built a strong reputation for making very protective iPhone cases. And ones for iPad, too. The latest case seeks to build on that rep.

The OtterGrip provides 3x MIL STD drop protection to give users confidence that their iPhone will survive daily life.

All too often, rugged iPhone cases block MagSafe, Apple’s wireless charging system. Not OtterBox’s latest. The accessory-maker promises “no-fuss MagSafe compatibility.”

This is especially surprising considering that OtterGrip includes a pop-up handle built into its back. This sits completely flush when not in use. The grip rotates 360 degrees, and has room for two fingers. It’s soft to the touch, so it’s comfortable to use.

Coming soon in a variety of colors
