Who says nostalgia can’t be practical? The Sharkgeek Retro 67 is shaped like the original Macintosh, but the palm-size wall charger pumps up to 67 watts through a trio of USB-C ports.

The accessory for MacBook, iPad or iPhone can be preordered now.

Tiny Macintosh charges your MacBook

The original 1984 Macintosh is a milestone in computer history. Long-time Apple fans can still remember using one, or any of the follow-up models Apple released with the same design.

The Sharkgeek Retro 67 is a nostalgic re-creation of those early computers … at a much smaller size, of course. “We’ve restored the original Macintosh design and the exterior details to pay tribute to the classic,” says the accessory-maker.

The tiny screen even works, displaying power output. And Sharkgeek promises the charger can fully juice up an M2 MacBook Air in two hours, or give an iPhone a 50% charge in half an hour.

Retro 67 plugs into a wall socket and can output 67W through any of its UBS-C ports. If two are in use, one port puts out 45W and the other 20W. If all three are connected to devices, one delivers 45W and the other two split 15W.

The accessory’s small size comes from the use of GaN in the hardware. Overall, it measures 2.2 inches by 1.6 inches by 1.5 inches (57mm x 39mm x 41mm). It weighs less than 4 ounces (110g).

Preorder now

Sharkgeek Retro 67 can be ordered today on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo. The preorder price is $39, which is less than half the regular cost. The product is scheduled to launch in March 2023.

International power adapters are available for additional cost.
