Ask Apple is a new way for iPhone and Mac developers to get support and feedback. It will include interactive question-and-answer sessions and one-on-one consultations.

‘Ask Apple’ invites devs to bring their problems to Apple
There are millions of developers writing applications for iPhone, iPad and Mac. And it’s not easy for small, third-party devs to get in contact with Apple to get valuable help with their code.
That’s where the new program comes in. It will let developers connect with Apple evangelists, engineers and designers. Group Q&A sessions will be on Slack.
One-on-one virtual meetings can also be scheduled to ask for code-level assistance, design guidance, advice on resolving issues and other problems. Apple calls these office hours, and promises they’ll be available in a wide range of time zones and in multiple languages.
“We’ve been listening to feedback from developers around the world about what will be most helpful to them as they build innovative apps, and we’ve seen an increased appetite for one-on-one support and conversation with Apple experts,” said Susan Prescott, Apple VP of Worldwide Developer Relations. “Our team is committed to continuously evolving our support for our diverse global developer community, and we’re excited to offer Ask Apple as another new resource.”
The first round of sessions will be October 17 through October 21. They’re open to current members of the Apple Developer Program and the Apple Developer Enterprise Program. For more information or to register go to the Ask Apple website.
