Twelve South expanded its SuitCase line to the latest 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. The case offers three layers of protection, with the outer being quilted twill for a smart look.

“When all you need is your MacBook for an off-site meeting, SuitCase is the ultimate shuttle,” says Twelve South.

It’s not a good idea to carry a MacBook around naked. It could get scratched or broken in situations where a hard case would have kept it safe.

The inner layer of Twelve South’s SuitCase is soft microfiber to prevent scratches. Next, there’s a layer of hard plastic to protect the MacBook from impacts. This is all wrapped with premium water-resistant twill in a quilted diamond pattern.

It’s designed to allow the Mac to be used without removing the case. The back won’t flop over when the notebook’s clamshell is open. And it won’t interfere with accessing the computer’s ports.

The case also offers dual, weather-resistant zippers and a genuine leather handle.

Twelve South SuitCase for the 2021 MacBook Pro models is available now. Obviously, there are different sizes for the 14- and 16-inch versions but they’re the same price: $79.99.

The accessory maker already offers a version for the 16-inch MacBook Pro from 2019-2020 at the same price. A version for the 2020 MacBook Air is in development.
