WaterField Designs released Magnetic Laptop Sleeve for 13-inch M2 MacBook Air
The Magnetic Laptop Sleeve is the newest in a line of custom-fitted sleeves WaterField Designs has developed in its San Francisco sewing studio for every Apple laptop since the Titanium PowerBook in 2001.
“We’re offering the new Magnetic Laptop Sleeve in four earthy colors of waxed canvas. Waxed canvas has such a great feel to it, and the full-grain leather hand grip is easy and comfortable for grabbing the laptop and heading to a meeting,” company owner Gary Waterfield said in a statement.
“Once there, the magnetic closure opens and closes nearly silently without interrupting the proceedings, and the water-repellent materials give me extra peace of mind,” he added.
Rugged protection
The Magnetic Laptop Sleeve protects your machine with rugged waxed canvas, a water-resistant ballistic nylon lining and 4mm of neoprene padding.
Rare earth magnets run the length of the opening and close “with a quiet, satisfying snap,” the company said.
Available in vertical or horizontal orientations, the sleeve slides easily into backpacks, briefcases and messenger bags.
A full-length rear pocket can hold cords, wallet, phone and other accessories.
A full-grain leather hand grip at the bottom of the sleeve makes carrying your laptop comfortable and adds a bit of extra protection when setting it down. And you can add an optional strap for another carrying option.
