Security gear provider Reolink launched a new brand, Keen, and a new product Tuesday — the Keen Ranger PT trail camera. With a 360-degree view, 4MP super HD image quality and other features like night vision, hunters, campers, farmers and wildlife enthusiasts are likely to recognize what game they “capture” with it out in the bush.

And for launch you can get 15% off the device’s regular price, plus a chance to win $1,000.

Keen Ranger PT trail camera

Dedicated to trail cameras, the new brand Keen put out its Keen Ranger PT on Tuesday.

Unlike many traditional trail cameras, the Ranger PT can pan and tilt with a 360-degree view. Users can control the camera to rotate horizontally and vertically via the phone app from afar (iOS and Windows).

With the rotation feature, farmers, campers, hunters, or wildlife organizations can get a full picture of what’s happening out there.

In addition, the Ranger PT boasts 4MP super HD image quality to capture every detail, day or night.

Thanks to its onboard smart detection algorithm, the trail camera distinguishes activities by humans, vehicles and animals from other background movements, such as moving tree branches and changing sunlight.

Users can customize the camera to record and send notifications only when the camera detects certain things, such as motion caused by people and animals.

Features:

  • 2K live stream with 4G network
  • 360° view with pan/tilt control
  • Low-glow IR night vision
  • In-time app notification
  • 0.5s fast trigger speed
  • GPS Map label with specially designed app
  • Animal detection
  • Solar panel support
  • Human detection and siren anti-theft

The camera blends into the environment with built-in 940nm infrared LEDs and camouflage covering. That makes it less noticeable to humans and less likely to be vandalized, the company said.

Keen plans to offer straps and other accessories soon, including a lock box, to prevent theft.

Preorders start Tuesday with a 15% off deal through Wednesday for the camera and its small solar panel. Customers can also win $1,000 by referring Keen to their family and friends.

Price: $349.99 $297.49
