The show premiers on Apple TV+ in late July, and stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, best known for appearing in Apple’s critically acclaimed The Morning Show.

Dive into the Surface trailer

Mbatha-Raw stars as Sophie, a woman with extreme memory loss as a result of a traumatic head injury that’s believed to be a result of a suicide attempt. She tries to put the pieces of her life back together with the help of her husband and friends. But then she begins to question whether what she is told is the truth.

The first Surface trailer shows Sophie’s struggles to unravel the mystery her life has become as she suspects her supposed suicide attempt was actually attempted murder. Apple promises twists and turns and an unexpected love triangle.
