Apple streamlined the subscription-management interfaces on iPhone and iPad Friday.

The new look adds spacing between separate subscriptions. And it makes telling which subscriptions are active and inactive a little more clear at a glance.

You can see the subtly improved interface by going to Settings and clicking on your Apple ID with photograph at the top. Then, on the new screen, Subscriptions is the fourth item down.

When you tap on a subscription, you can see details on the price of the subscription and when it is set to renew (or expire if you have cancelled it). If a subscription is expired, you will see an option to renew if you like.

Options to renew, cancel or change subscriptions for services like Apple One, Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Podcasts and others are more prominent than before.

Which versions have it?

You can see the new subscription interface on devices running iOS 15.5 and later. That includes those with the iOS 16 beta. The update doesn’t seem to appear on iOS 15.4, so it may newer versions only.

However, you don’t necessarily need to update your OS in order to see the interface. Any recent version loads Apple’s revamped web view.

The updated subscription interface follows Settings app changes Apple made with iOS 15 and earlier updates, in an effort to provided simpler management options.
