The first season of the alternate-history sci-fi series For All Mankind is now available to enjoy without an Apple TV+ subscription. Watching also doesn’t require an Apple device.

The promotion coincides with the launch of season three of the series.

For All Mankind is highly rated space drama

For All Mankind starts with a unique premise: what if the U.S. wasn’t the first country to reach the moon? The United States comes up with an alternative plan which is… a spoiler for those who haven’t watched season one yet.

You can find out for yourself. The Apple TV+ now says: For All Mankind: Watch Season 1 Free for a Limited Time.”

The show is popular with audiences and critics alike. Seasons two and three both have 100% approval ratings on the review-aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes.

How to watch on Apple and non-Apple devices

Of course, Apple TV+ is available on any Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. But Apple also make its streaming service as widely available as possible.

Roku and Amazon Fire users need only install a free Apple TV app. Windows and Android users watch from tv.apple.com.

Watching new shows comes with a $4.99-per-month subscription, but For All Mankind season 1 is currently free.
