Amazon has the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro chip and 1TB storage discounted to just $2,249 — down from its retail price of $2,499.

On the listing page, Amazon is offering a $50 discount, with the additional $200 off being applied checkout. Do note the offer is only available on the silver shade for now.

14-inch MacBook Pro can easily handle your heavy workload

The 14-inch MacBook Pro packs the same internals as its bigger sibling. This means despite the slightly more compact form factor, you are getting the same level of performance. Thanks to the M1 Pro chip and 16GB of unified memory, the new MacBook Pro can easily handle even the most demanding workloads.

The variant discounted on Amazon is not the base model. Instead, it features a 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU, and 1TB of storage. It comes bundled with a 96W USB-C power adapter that can fast charge the machine to 50% in just 30 minutes.

It’s also the first MacBook Pro since 2016 to pack MagSafe charging, an HDMI port, and a built-in SD card reader.

Sweet discount and a faster delivery timeline than Apple’s online store

This is an excellent deal and one that you should not miss, especially given the supply crunch affecting MacBooks and other major Apple devices due to the COVID lockdowns in China.

Amazon’s deal gets even sweeter when you consider the estimated delivery timeline of early June. For comparison, the earliest Apple’s online store lists the 14-inch MacBook Pro for shipping is mid-July. So you will be able to get the machine at least a month early from Amazon and with a sweet $250 discount.

As with all deals on Amazon, this one is unlikely to last for long so make sure to pull the trigger on it as soon as possible.
