If you have a Level HomeKit-enabled smart lock, now you can add a nifty new Level Keypad. It’s an especially convenient way to let others — family, friends, neighbors, the dog walker — have access to your home. And you can control when they can use it.

Level Keypad for HomeKit-enabled Level smart locks

Level promoted the new Level Keypad earlier this year. Now it officially launches as a companion to the company’s line of HomeKit-enabled smart locks.

You can mount the keypad anywhere within 30 feet of a Level lock. The keypad will wirelessly communicate with the lock via Bluetooth.

The keypad features a water-resistant enclosure with an LED-backlit number pad. To use it, you make up a passcode between four and six digits long. Then you can share the code with whom you want. And you can control exactly when it will work.

“Whether you want to give your kids an easy way to come home from school or need to give recurring access to your dog walker, Level Keypad offers another intuitive way to welcome people into your home,” said Alyssa Berman-Waugh, Level’s VP of marketing

“Designed to be installed anywhere near your lock, Level Keypad gives you the freedom to mount it discreetly and maintain the clean look of your entryway,” she added. “It’s a powerful addition to the Level smart home collection, offering a modern take on familiar behavior for homeowners and guests alike.”

You can order the keypad from Level for $79 (or discounted to $59 when purchased with a Level Bolt, Level Lock, Level Lock – Touch Edition, or Level Expressions model).

Various Level HomeKit door locks are available on Amazon starting at $171.99.
