The new router supports dual bands and Wi-Fi 6, including beamforming and OFDMA and MU-MIMO multi-user technology, rock space said. Powered by a dual-core processor, it also includes four high-gain antennas, BSS color technology, Gigabit WAN/LAN ports plus simple Wi-Fi-Protected Setup (WPS), the latest Internet Protocol (version 6, or IPv6) and 4K video streaming.
The rock space AX1800 WiFi 6 Router is capable of covering a wide range of up to 2,500 square feet. Placing it in the center of a room provides the maximum signal, the company said. It added that the BSS Color technology automatically identifies frames from neighboring networks to ensure efficient connectivity.
The router provides fast speeds via WiFi 6 802.11ax technology with 4X improved network capacity and efficiency for wireless connectivity over previous standards, the company said, calling the product “an ideal companion for 4K video streaming, online gaming and management of smart home devices.”
Connects with up to 35 devices
The integration of OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies allows the router to deliver data to multiple devices. The router can connect with up to 35 devices with a high transmission rate and low latency.
WPA3 protocol helps maintain network stability and identifies and avoids potential Internet threats.
You can use a parental control function to keep track of children’s activities. And rock space’s addition of a guest network helps keep personal data from hackers, the company said.
The rock space AX1800 WiFi 6 Router is available for just $56 using the 30 percent coupon currently available on Amazon (normally $79.99).
