Oral-B is adding three new brushes, previewed this week at CES 2022, to its smart iO lineup that all work alongside your iPhone to give you cleaner, healthier teeth.

With features like real-time feedback, pressure control, multiple brushing modes, and the ability to monitor your brushing habits, the iO4, iO5 and iO10 brushes promise greater plaque removal and improved gum health.

Oral-B iO brushes pair with iPhone for brushing insights

Toothbrush manufacturers have been rolling out connected brushes for a number of years now, and with every iteration, they get a little bit better at doing their job … according to the toothbrush manufacturers.

Oral-B’s new iO lineup is its most advanced yet, and the iO10 is the star of the show. Using iOSense artificial intelligence, it aims to be your all-in-one oral health coach to help make your mouth cleaner than it’s ever been.

The iO10 does everything you would expect a smart brush to do, like monitoring your brushing habits — including pressure and coverage — and offering tips for better cleaning. It also has seven different brushing modes.

In addition to the regular Daily Clean mode, there are options for intense cleaning, whitening, tongue cleaning, and gum care. There’s also a mode that offers a lighter touch for those with sensitive teeth.

iO4 and iO5 will be more affordable

Oral-B is yet to confirm pricing or a release date for the iO10, but you can sign up for updates through its website. Its predecessor is priced at just under $300 in the United States.

If that’s a little on the pricey side for you, then you might want to check out the iO4 and iO5 — both of which will be priced at under $100. They pack similar iO technology but with fewer options.

All brushes with alongside the Oral-B app for iPhone to show you brushing insights and cleaning tips.
