Streaming brand Elgato’s EpocCam app, which lets you turn your iPhone into a webcam for your Mac or PC, now features native support for Snap Lens augmented reality filters. Parent company Corsair Gaming announced the update Thursday.

The change results from a Corsair partnership with Snap. The latter already provides native filters in its Snap Camera software and the Snapchat app.

EpocCam adds 15 AR Snap Lenses

EpocCam now adds a total of 15 Snap Lenses. They include customizable filters, virtual backgrounds and virtual masks.

“Become your digital avatar, colorize your hair, interact with animated characters, and much more,” promises Elgato’s website.

The company said it will add more filters over time and the Snap Lenses work with EpocCam’s free version and its $7.99 Pro version.

Transform yourself while streaming or meeting

Elgato said EpocCam allows your iPhone to become your webcam across a range of services, including Teams, Zoom and OBS Studios.

That suggests the filters should be able to change your appearance in any case — whether you’re streaming or sitting in on a work call. That may have been possible before with the cam and Snap apps, but now it’s integrated in one software product.

You can get EpocCam as a free download on iOS. The $7.99 Pro version includes additional features, such as using your iPhone’s microphone. It also removes the software’s watermark from your feed.

Price: free or $7.99 for Pro version
