Spigen has rolled out its first MagSafe power bank, available for preorder now. The ArcHybrid Mag arrives with a 5,000mAh capacity alongside 7.5W charging speeds and a stronger magnetic force than other models on the market, the company said. All that and a launch discount, too (see below).

Spigen ArcHybrid Mag, a new MagSafe power bank

We’ve known and loved magnetic wireless charging since last year’s launch of the iPhone 12 series with MagSafe. The new iPhone 13 series continues the trend. Capitalizing on that, Spigen timed its new release to coincide with Apple’s recent “California Streaming” event that introduced iPhone 13 and other products.

The new Spigen ArcHybrid Mag power bank comes along with a form factor not unlike Apple’s MagSafe power bank. However, it is a little bulkier than some MagSafe power banks out there. The rectangular charger snaps via magnets to the back of your device.

Added bulk but also added features

For that added bulk, you get some added features. It offers 7.5W charging speeds, for one. Not all MagSafe banks do; some top out at 5W. It also includes USB-C charging to power up the 5,000mAh internal battery.

Spigen said the new ArcHybrid bests the competing Anker MagSafe power bank, at least in some ways. The Spigen offers stronger magnets than Anker bank, making the Spigen 1.5 times more likely to stay in place. And the Anker bank offers 5W output, not the Spigen’s 7.5W.

The Spigen ArcHybrid Mag launches on October 14, but you can preorder it now at a discount via Amazon. The retail price of $54.99 is discounted 40% via on-page coupon for preorders, lowering the price to $32.99.
