Meross Smart Floor Lamp: Make it a desk lamp if you want

The new Meross Smart Floor Lamp stands at 54.7 inches tall. It’s modular, to you can remove the top and use it with an included attachment as a desk lamp. In the shorter mode, its height reaches 22 inches.

A flexible gooseneck near the top of the lamp lets you turn it 360 degrees or tilt it. At the bottom, a weighted base helps keep the lamp from falling down.

Or clamp it to something

But you don’t have to settle for it just being a floor lamp or a desk lamp. You can also use the clamp attachment to fix it to a table, countertop, windowsill, mantle or what have you.

Color temperature and brightness adjustment

You can customize the lamp’s color temperature changes between 2700K and 6000K. Its peak brightness hits 650 lumens. Using the Meross app, you can dial in anywhere from 1% to 100% of that.

The smart part

You can easily control the lamp through HomeKit, as well as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or just the Meross app. You can use simple Siri voice commands to turn it on or off, or adjust brightness.

Note that HomeKit remote control requires an Apple TV or an iPad in the home. And you need a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network.

More Meross

The new modular floor lamp joins a Meross Smart LED Desk Lamp with HomeKit compatability, also available on Amazon for $59.99, or $20 less with the in-listing coupon.

You can find more information on Meross products with HomeKit compatibility, including product reviews, right here on Cult of Mac.

The Meross Smart Floor Lamp lists for $79.99 on the Meross site and Amazon. But you can use the in-listing coupon on Amazon to get $18 off. That’s not quite the $25 off launch discount previously on offer, but it’s not bad.
