The Mac mini got a serious upgrade when Apple put in an M1 processor. And you can save up to $120 on this macOS desktop during Amazon’s Prime Day. Pick one up for less than $600.

But don’t dawdle. These deals are only good through Tuesday, June 22.

M1 Mac mini might be all the computer you need

The Mac mini used to be a nice little desktop for people who wanted a Mac and didn’t need too much power. Then Apple launched the M-series processors and the computer got a huge speed boost. The 2020 version with an 8-core M1 chip offers amazingly good performance. It’s up to 3x faster with up to 6x graphics. But the computer runs quietly, hardly ever turning on its fan.

On the back of the tiny titan are a pair of USB-C ports that support Thunderbolt and USB 4. There’s also a pair of USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.0 port and Ethernet. There’s even a 3.5mm headset jack.

Amazon currently offers the Mac mini with an M1 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $599.99. That’s after a $40 Prime Day deal and an additional $59.01 taken off at checkout.

And that’s not all. The M1 Mac mini with 8GB/512GB is $779.99, after a $100 Prime Day deal and an additional $19.01 taken off at checkout.

Prime Day started Monday but Amazon is apparently a bit vague on the the definition of “day.” Sales are still going on Tuesday.
