Reddit user @u/ilovenyc’s plant-themed setup is warm and inviting. The favorite part of @u/ilovenyc’s setup is a jaw-dropping, 49-inch Samsung CRG9 Curved Gaming Monitor, which is hooked up to a Mac mini. @u/ilovenyc (who prefers to remain autonomous) says it “never fails to put a smile on my face every time I sit down, whether to work or game.”
Next to the Mac mini, the cybersecurity expert has a PC rig for gaming. It has a AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Desktop Processor with a NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2080 graphic card. They are encased in a ZXT H210 Mini-ITX PC Gaming Case.

The desk is a beautiful 72-inch x 30-inch Carbonized Bamboo Desk by UPLIFT. It doesn’t just look great, it’s eco-friendly too. @u/ilovenyc sits on a Staples Hyken Mesh Task Chair, which has great lumbar support so @u/ilovenyc can grind all day, whether it’s working or gaming. A Ergotron HX Desk Monitor Arm is heavy-duty enough to mount the 49-inch Samsung on the desk.
For peripherals, this gamer has a Ducky Miya Pro Panda White LED Mechanical Keyboard. It’s paired with a Tai-Hao PBT-104 Hawaii Keycaps that give the setup a nice vibrant look. There’s a custom built Koi-themed wrist rest made by Reddit user u/keycapsVN. For a mouse, @u/ilovenyc splurged and got a Logitech MX Master 2, which has seven different buttons to maximize efficiency.
@u/ilovenyc uses a 2018 iPad for play and to take notes. It rests on a Begenes Tablet Holder made by Ikea that costs only $4.
@u/ilovenyc has a pair of Jabra Elite 85h Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones, which are “not the best headphones” but are noise-cancelling.
