Mac Pro Setup
A Mac Pro with the Pro Display XDR always makes for an incredible setup.

When the new Mac Pro was released, Jonathan Morrison knew that meant one thing, it was time to change his setup. So he abandoned his MacBook Pro and started from scratch. He now runs a scintillating Mac Pro through a scintillating 32-inch Pro XDR Display. And because he is a Tech Youtuber, he also has the Pro Stand. He says that the Mac Pro is overkill for the stuff that he is doing but he loves how quiet it is.

Morrison specked out his Mac Pro too. He added a Promise Pegasus R4i RAID storage system, which is great for editing high-quality videos and gives him 32TB of raw storage. He also has a 8TB Accelsior 4M2 PCIe Card, which he gives him lighting-quick transfer speeds of up to 6,000MB per second.

Morrison’s desk is a BDi Centro 6401 Desk, which gives him a ton of space to play with. There is also a pull-out tray for his peripherals. Morrison used to have a mouse and a trackpad but they couldn’t all fit on the tray, so he abandoned the trackpad. Instead he uses a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse, which is one of the most well-designed mice on the planet. He also has the Apple Magic Keyboard with Numerical Keypad.

This audiophile has a pair of Dynaudio LYD 48 3-way Powered Studio Monitors. These excellent speakers have three drivers to handle low, mid, and high frequencies for high-quality clarity across the frequency spectrum. To handle all his audio, Morrison is lucky enough to preview an Apogee Electronics Symphony Desktop USB Audio Interface, which has not been released yet.
