Now’s the time to act if you want to invest in something new and improve the high-speed connectivity of all your devices at the same time. ALOGIC has put its first-of-its-kind 10-in-1 USB-C Super Dock on Indiegogo for funding. The beast of a hub can handle dual 4k displays, supports 100 watts of power delivery via USB-C, and works across all Mac or Windows computers, tablets and phones outfitted with that high-speed port.

A first for the ALOGIC 10-in-1 USB-C Super Dock

The dual-display-capable DisplayPort (DP) 1.4 USB-C Super Dock has a twin USB-C cable that integrates Power, USB and DP Alt Mode functions. The dock features twin USB-C cables, one primary and one secondary.

That’s how the hub supports dual 4K @60Hz displays in Extend and Mirror modes for both Mac and Windows. ALOGIC notes the Super Dock is the only product on the market that can do it on both standard USB-C (Windows) and Thunderbolt 3 (Mac and Windows) ports. What’s more, the hub is a cheaper alternative for a dual-screen setup for Macs in Extend mode as compared to other Thunderbolt 3 docks and hubs.

Complete connectivity anywhere

The Super Dock’s features and compact form factor make it great for use in offices or shared work spaces at home where both Mac and Windows systems are running. Or both. You can easily carry it with you and use it anywhere.

Connectivity-wise, the hub bristles with 10 ports to connect pretty much any gear you need connected.

Two each:

  • HDMI 2.0 (4K 60Hz)
  • USB-A (USB 3.0)

One each:

  • Gigabit Ethernet
  • USB-C (PD + Data 3.1 Gen1)
  • USB-C (3.1 Gen 1 Data Only)
  • SD card
  • Micro SD card
  • 3.5mm audio jack

Use it with many different devices

Innovative magnetic connectors allow the hub to be used with MacBooks, iPad Pro, Windows laptops, Android phones and tablets, Chromebooks or any other USB-C-enabled device with DP Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3. In addition, 100W pass-thru laptop charging allows support for larger laptops like the 16-inch MacBook. A long cable enables the hub’s use when a laptop is on a riser or stand, too. A lock slot secures the hub to a desk when you’re working in a public environment.

Purchase it by backing it on Indiegogo.

Price: An early special features one hub for $71 with additional discounts for purchases of more than one.
