It should come as no surprise that the 16-inch MacBook Pro is one of the finest Apple laptops money can buy. It packs a stunning Retina display, the fastest Intel chips you’ll find in a MacBook, and dedicated graphics.

The machine also ships with an improved thermal design that allows it to maintain maximum performance for longer periods, plus an impressive high-fidelity sound system and studio-quality microphones.

Can you handle that performance? Get yours for up to $499.01 off the usual price.

Amazon is offering the 16-inch MacBook Pro with an Intel Core i7 processor and 512GB of storage for just $1,199.99 — down from $2,399. But you can enjoy a bigger discount on the Intel Core i9 model with 1TB of storage, which is down to $2,499.99 from $2,799.

These are by far the biggest discounts we’ve seen on the 16-inch MacBook Pro since it made its debut. Both models are available in silver or space gray, and both ship with a Touch Bar and Touch ID, AMD Radeon Pro graphics, and 16GB of RAM.
