The latest iteration of the OtterBox Symmetry Series 360 Folio Case got a design tweak for the 2020 iPad Pro. This case offers a clear, scratch-resistant design as well as drop protection.

The updated version takes into account the significant camera enhancements in the latest iPad Pro.

This folio case wraps the newest iPadOS tablet in a polycarbonate shell for drop protection. The back of this is clear, showing off the Apple logo.

A flap covers the iPad Pro screen in transit, or folds u behind the computer to makes stand. And there’s a place to securely hold an Apple Pencil 2.

There’s a nearly identical version of this case for the 2018 iPad Pro. Find out more about it in the Cult of Mac review of the OtterBox Symmetry Series 360.

A small tweak but an important one

The 2018 iPad Pro has a single camera lens. But the iPadOS model launched in March has two. And Apple built a LiDAR 3D scanner into this tablet, making it well suited for augmented reality applications. But these additions greatly increased the size of the “camera hump” on the back of the tablet.

The latest version of the OtterBox Symmetry Series 360 sports a larger opening for just this reason. Without it, the case simply doesn’t fit.

This folio case comes in charcoal grey, light grey or burgundy. The version for the most-recent 12.9-inch iPad Pro is $99.95, while one for the latest 11-inch tablet is $89.95. They’re available today on the OtterBox website.
