If you live in an older house where places to plug in are few in number, you begin to appreciate the idea of a charging station for multiple devices.

Pitaka’s Air Omni is a wireless charger for up to six devices that does away with multiple chargers and cords. And it will prevent you from having to cut additional sockets into the walls of your vintage digs.

The Mfi-certified charger turned the heads of Apple users in Las Vegas earlier this year at CES and is now available for pre-order on Kickstarter. Early backers can snag one for $119.

Omni is another way of saying all and because of all the devices Air Omni supports, it takes up a bigger footprint that some wireless charging mats. It will fit on an uncrowded nightstand but is probably ideal for a home desk, countertop or table.

And if you live among Android users, the charger will accommodate without judgment.

At the back of the base is a foldable, adjustable support stand for charging an iPad that includes a convertible Lighting to Type-C connector. In front of the iPad dock is a flip-up Apple Watch charger. There is room on either side of this circular contact for AirPods. From there, a generous amount of charging mat awaits an iPhone.

The charger supports both 7.5w and 18w fast charging for iPhone.

Along the side are two ports, one Lightning and the other USB-C. Next to the ports is a small drawer, for small valuables like a wedding ring.

Inside the base are three high-power wireless charging coils encased in aramid fiber, a bullet-proof material, and zinc alloy.

If the production schedule holds up, Pitaka says Air Omni will ship by June.
