The alternative rock band The Mowgli’s joined the muppets of Apple’s TV’s Helpsters to explain how to correctly use “if” and “then” in a sentence. And not through a boring lecture, but through a song.
Watch a video of them rocking some grammar rules now:
The video is “The Mowgli’s — If and Then.” As Apple says “If ever there was a time to get down, then this is it. The Helpsters and The Mowgli’s teach kids how to use ‘if’ and ‘then’ in this danceable tune.”
Helpsters teaches through song
Helpsters is an educational children’s show exclusively on Apple TV+. However, it’s temporarily available free to everyone with an Apple ID, no subscription required, during the COVID-19 crisis.
The program regularly brings in artists to teach kids through song. R&B star Ne-Yo recently joined with the cast of to sing about directionality, for example.
This is a formula that’s very familiar to the producers of Helpsters: Sesame Workshop. This same group has been crafting a little children’s educational show called Sesame Street since 1969.
