Apple launched a much-needed update to watchOS Wednesday, eliminating bugs and enhancing performance for the FaceTime feature on Apple Watch.

Apple Watch users running watchOS 6.2 were unable to participate in FaceTime audio calls with iPhones running iOS 9.3.6 or Macs running El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier.

The release of watchOS 6.2.1 comes one day after Apple sent out updates to iOS and iPadOS that address similar FaceTime issues involving devices running older operating systems.

There are two ways to bring watchOS 6.2.1. to your Apple Watch. One, tap on the watch app on your iPhone and go to General Settings. From there, tap Software Update.

Users can get the update directly on their Apple Watch by going into the Settings app, tapping General and then Software Update.
