Netflix finally made it possible to keep your personal profile private from other people using your account with a new update today that lets users create individual pins.

The new feature is part of a larger update that improves on parental controls, allowing content to be filtered based on age and other criteria. If you have kids and don’t want them to have access to your profile and the content on it, or you just got a roommate who always messes up your “Continue Watching” queue, you’ll find the new pin feature to be extra useful.

Setting up your PIN can be done from both the mobile and desktop Netflix websites. To edit your own PIN you’ll need to know your account password first.

Here’s how to set up your PIN:

1: Sign in to your Netflix account
2: Select your profile
3: Click “Account” from the drop-down menu under your profile in the upper right corner.
4: Scroll down to the Profile and Parental Controls section and select your profile.
5: Click “Change” in the Profile Lock section.
6: Enter your account password.
7: Check the box that says “Lock this profile by creating a 4-digit pin.
8: Enter your PIN and hit Save.

There’s also an option to require the main account profile’s PIN to create other profiles. Unfortunately, you can’t make these changes from inside the iOS app yet.
