Quarantined photographers across the internet have used the lockdown to come up with personal projects they could shoot within the same confines of their home.

Condé Nast shooter Alessio Albi has one of the more interesting bodies of work to emerge from staying at home. He is using FaceTime for remote fashion shoots.

Albi lives and works in Italy, which has been the hardest hit by COVID-19. Unable to work because of the lockdown, he reached out to models and posed them through the video chat feature.

Good photographers pride themselves on being able to photograph with any camera. In using a low-res webcam, Albi proves you don’t need the expensive gear he usually shoots with.

“I’ve always felt a need to create, ever since I started shooting in 2011,” Albi told the photography website PetaPixel. “I also want to try and communicate the importance of staying in contact even at distance during this time, without thinking that we are wasting time and trying to make good use of it.”

You can head over to PetaPixel to see several of his best screenshots or you can follow Albi on Instagram.
