Watch it now:
Apple says Home Before Dark is “a mystery inspired by the reporting of a real nine-year-old journalist. When a young girl and her family move back to the small town her father left behind, her pursuit of the truth leads to the unearthing of a long-buried cold case.”
It’s based on the story of Hilde Lysiak, who although still a pre-teen wanted to be a reporter. She started her own newspaper in Selinsgrove, PA, the Orange Street News, which she’s still publishing.
Apple already picked up season 2 of this show.
