The Yellow Jacket is both an iPhone case and powerful stun gun. The newest version is slimmer and supports the iPhone XS and iPhone X.
Plus, it can also be as a phone charger.
Yellow Jacket is a stun gun…
While some iPhone cases just look stunning, Yellow Jacket makes it literal. It really has a built-in electrical stun gun. “The stun gun is able to fire multiple charges at six to seven times more than the defensive standard for non-lethal conductive energy weapons,” notes the company.
This is a contact weapon. It must be pressed up against an assailant to be effective. But its manufacturer points out the user is less likely to miss, and it can be set off several times in succession.
…and an iPhone case
Yellow Jacket just released a version of this case that fits the iPhone XS and X. Unlike its predecessors, this is a single-piece unit with rounded edges and less bulk. Because this case will be carried everywhere, it also needs to be attractive. It comes in midnight black, urgent red, desert tan, and cool teal.
Previous models are still available — they support the iPhone 8 and 7, as well as the iPhone 6S and 6. And these are currently available at 38% to 50% off their original price. There is not yet a version for any of the 2019 models.
And the battery used by the stun gun can be used to recharge the iPhone.
The version of the Yellow Jacket for iPhone XS/X costs $159. It will launch Monday, January 27 on its manufacturer’s website.
