CES 2020 Mophie is serious when it calls the Powerstation Go a universal battery — this 44,400 mWh powerbank is powerful enough to jump start an SUV, but also includes ports to recharge MacBooks and iPhones. There’s even wireless charging.

Powerstation Go stands ready for all kinds of road emergencies

“The next generation of Mophie Powerstation takes our universal solution that everyone knows and loves and makes it even more powerful with the ability to jump start cars,” said Charlie Quong, vice president of product, power at Zagg Brands.

It comes with a pair of mini jumper cables. This just-released powerbank also offers dual 2.4A USB-A ports. And there’s an AC power outlet offering 115V so virtually any electrical device can be plugged in. Plus there’s an LED flashlight to boot.

On the top of the Mophie Powerstation Go is a 5V wireless charger. This uses the Qi standard that works with all recent iPhone models, and many high-end Android ones too.

This multi-purpose external battery sells for $159.95. It debuted today on HSN.com, but will be available Jan. 9 on Mophie.com. It comes in a variety of colors, including Black (Onyx), Blue (Cobalt), Rose Gold (Flamingo), Blue/Purple (Sapphire), Woodland (Camo), and Gold.

Mophie unveiled the Powerstation Go at CES 2020, a huge annual trade show that’s a popular venue to launch accessories like this.
