Smartphone lens pioneer olloclip has launched a new line of clips and protective cases to make its lenses compatible with the iPhone 11 series.
Apple rolled out the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max this past fall, forcing accessory companies to redesign their products around a square camera module. The Pro series handsets gave olloclip designers a new challenge: come up with a single clip with mounting points for the Pro line’s three cameras.
The new square clip which runs across the top of the phone can fit on a cashless iPhone or with one of olloclip’s new cases. olloclip today also announced clips and cases for the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10e.
“olloclip is around to continue innovating exciting solutions for mobile photographs who just want to shot with their phones,” CEO Jim Weisz said in a written statement.
olloclip has a number of lenses and accessory kits to fit any budget. If you already have the lenses, especially the pro series, the clip is available for $29.99 on the olloclip website. Cases for any of the three iPhone 11 models run $39.99.
If you are new to olloclip, the video below explains how the lenses interact with the iPhone camera system. The video shows how the system mounts for both Apple’s and Samsung’s new flagship phones.
