There are wall-to-wall alternatives on the market for what was supposed to be AirPower. One actually mounts to the wall and looks like a piece of art while it charges multiple devices.

The MagEZ Bar from Pitaka charges two phones simultaneously. It holds them in place with strong magnets that easily align the phones or AirPods with the charging coils. To the right of the charging coils, a hidden magnetic array provides a space for keys or AirPods.

Apple’s failure with AirPower (thermal issues) sent accessory companies into overdrive trying to bring devotees of Apple devices wireless charging pads and docks.

MagEZ Bar won’t cut all your cords. But it cleans things up a bit for two-smartphone households. The bar measures around 15 inches wide. It comes with a mounting bracket and USB-C ports on the bar’s short sides.

True to Pitaka’s style, black Aramid fiber material adorns the charging surface. That gives it a satisfying texture and a hint of luxury.

MagEZ Bar is available for $149 on the Pitaka website.

P.S. If the Pitaka name sounds familiar, it might be because Cult of Mac recently featured the company’s 4-in-1 charging station currently on Kickstarter.
