Fortnite’s newest update is out, bringing Halloween back to Battle Royale. The version 10.10 release kicks off this year’s Fortnitemares event — and there’s plenty to enjoy.

Fortnite Chapter 2 has gotten off to a great start so far, with fans very much enjoying the game’s huge overhaul. And Epic Games isn’t ready to slow down just yet.

Fortnitemares is back this week, bringing even more to Battle Royale.

Fortnite goes all out for Halloween

This year, Fortnitemares returns with a vengeance. You’ll find zombie fiends have once again invaded the Battle Royale map, making survival even more difficult.

The zombies are all over the place, but most of them like to hang out in the center of the map — right where Loot Lake used to be. Eliminate them and you’ll be rewarded with weapons and ammo.

Fortnitemares also brings a brand-new Storm King LTM. It lets you team up with friends in an effort to prevent the Storm King from destroying the Battle Royale island.

“Your courage and skill will be rewarded with a special Umbrella,” Epic says.

Get your hands on creepy cosmetics

Epic has also introduced a bunch of creepy cosmetics to celebrate Halloween. There are zombie soccer players, the Storm King’s pickaxe, and a super-spooky Cryptic Curse bundle.

As if that wasn’t enough, you can pick up The Final Reckoning pack, which includes the horrifying Catrina outfit, the Willow outfit, Mourning Glory back bling, Blacklight outfit, and more.

This week’s Fortnite patch is available now across all platforms — including iOS. Epic hasn’t confirmed how long Fortnitemares will last this year, but it’s likely to disappear with new week’s update.

Go enjoy it while you can!
