It’s almost time to bid farewell to the Fortnite x Borderlands crossover. But don’t rush to spend 2,000 V-Bucks on the Psycho bundle just yet because you might be able to claim it for free.

Here’s how.

The Borderlands crossover brought a lot to Battle Royale, including a brilliant Pandora zone, a set of six challenges that offered free rewards, and the Pyscho cosmetics bundle.

That bundle, which is still available for a few more hours in the Fortnite item shop, includes the Psycho outfit, Pyscho Buzz axes, and the Claptrap Pet back bling. It’s also pretty pricey.

At 2,000 V-Bucks, the bundle will cost you around $20 in real cash. But there is a way you can get it for free before the end of 2019.

Claim Fortnite’s Psycho bundle for free

Anyone who buys Borderlands 3 from the Epic Games Store before December 31, 2019, will get the Fortnite Psycho bundle free. That includes the outfit, axes, and back bling.

The bundle will be rewarded immediately after your purchase is complete, so you’ll see it as soon as you log into Fortnite.

If you’ve already purchased the Pyscho bundle and you plan to buy Borderlands 3 anyway, you will be refunded 2,000 V-Bucks. But remember only applies to those who buy the game from Epic.

Borderlands 3 available now

Borderlands 3 is out on Friday, September 13, but you can pre-purchase the game today. There are three versions of it available from Epic, and all come with the Pyscho bundle reward.

Admittedly, this isn’t the cheapest way to get the Pyscho bundle. But if you were already planning to buy Borderlands 3 this year, it’s a nice reward that will save you an extra $20.
