Apple CEO Tim Cook informed investors during today’s earnings call that Apple Card will launch in August.

A report last week claimed the card would launch within the next few weeks. With Services revenue at an all-time high, Apple Card will add one more tool to Apple’s money-making machine.

The Apple Card was originally unveiled during an Apple event in March. Thousands of Apple retail employees have reportedly been beta testing it over the last month. Some analysts expected the card to launch when iOS 12.4 was released to the public, but an official launch date hasn’t been given.

Tim Cook didn’t specify the exact launch date for Apple Card. Apple Card aims to be the most consumer-friendly credit card ever by helping users track their money. The card offers cash-back rewards for every purchase. Cardholders get 2% back on purchases when you use the card. If you’re buying Apple products that amount increases to 3%.

Goldman Sachs partnered with Apple to bring the card to consumers. Customers who are approved for the card will also get a physical titanium card that can be used when Apple Pay is not available.

Full details on the card’s launch will be revealed in the coming weeks. Tim Cook also teased that Apple has several more products coming down the pipeline this year.
