Amazon just confirmed the details of Prime Day 2019 — and it sounds like it’s going to be a corker.

This year’s event will run for a full 48 hours, making it the longest Prime Day so far. It also promises to be the best yet, with big discounts to be had on more than 1 million products across almost every category.

Prime Day 2019 takes place on July 15 and July 16. Amazon says it will be “a two-day parade of non-stop deals,” with massive savings on entertainment, computers and laptops, appliances, smart home technology, and lots more.

And it’s not just about the discounts.

New products on the way

Prime Day also offers shoppers early access to brand new product launches. They will be available exclusively from Amazon for a limited time, and you could be the first to get your hands on them.

Some of those launches will include a new robot vacuum from Proscenic, new Lightning headphones for iPhone from Belkin, and wireless earbuds with IPX7 water-resistance from Kygo.

Exclusive to Amazon Prime subscribers

Prime Day discounts and product launches are exclusive to Amazon Prime subscribers.

If you aren’t already a member, you can sign up now for $12.99 a month or $119 a year. You’ll enjoy a 30-day free trial if you’ve never subscribed to Prime before — and it’s worth every penny.

A Prime subscription not only lets you access Prime Day deals, but also a bunch of Amazon services, like Prime Video and Prime Music. You will also get free two-day shipping on millions of products sold on Amazon.com.
