Gone are the days when Mac users with an Office 365 subscription had to use Microsoft’s To-Do web app. This software giant just released a native macOS application.

“Whether you want to increase your productivity, decrease your stress levels, or just free up some mental space, Microsoft To-Do makes it easy to plan your day and manage your life,” says the official description.

Microsoft created To-Do to “help you focus on what you need and want to achieve.” Going beyond  a mere list of items to check off, this software is designed to automatically prioritize tasks that are most important. Naturally, the app makes it easy to carry forward unfinished items from the day before.

Even so, this utility probably best fits people who are already heavy users of Office 365’s various other tools.

To-Do is now available now from the Microsoft Store. It’s a free download.

Microsoft + Apple

It’s no longer surprising that Microsoft makes macOS applications. This company now puts its Office suite ahead of Windows so it’s willing to bring access to its productivity tools to any user, no mater what operating system they use.

There’s already a version of its To-Do software for iPhone and iPad, so the Mac app completes the set.
