A new MacOS app gives photographers a speedy way to create web galleries from the Photos library.

How fast? That depends on how fast you can click on a folder.

The photos2webgallery app launched today at a reduced introductory price of $31.99, about $14 off the eventual retail price. It is available for download on the app’s website via PayPal.

The app generates an HTML code on selected folders to let users share across a wide range of browsers, whether through a website or USB drive.

It uses HTML 5 support and can convert Apple’s proprietary HEIC to JPEG for display. Videos can also display in the HTML5 galleries.

While the app’s website shows preview images on a white background, users can choose from a selection of slideshow effects. Galleries will also display metadata for location, time and date.
