The public just got their hands on the third beta of iOS 12.1.1, which developers were able to access to this morning. This doesn’t bring new features, but makes some tweaks.

Developers can also download macOS 10.12.2 beta 3, tvOS 12.1.1 beta 3, and watchOS 5.2.1 beta 2.

Apple introduced iOS 12.1 last month. Not one to rest on its laurels, the company quickly began seeding a beta of a small follow-up version with bug fixes and other small changes. We’re now on the third iteration of this update.

Getting to try out the pre-release version of iOS 12.1.1 just requires joining the Apple Beta Software Program. It’s free and available to anyone. Just be aware that betas are expected to include new bugs. Install with caution.

Just for developers

At present, the third betas of macOS 10.12.2 and tvOS12.1.1 are available only to developers who have paid a $99 annual fee.

That said, the general public apparently isn’t missing anything but fixes to small issues that cropped up the last versions. And these beta will likely be made available to everyone soon.

The situation is slightly different with watchOS 5.2.1 beta 2. This is still just some tweaks to the code, but Apple Watch isn’t included in this company’s public beta program. All its betas are only available to developers.
