The latest Apple Pay promotion offers shoppers $25 off Oakley gear.

Apple encourages users to “gear up for the season” in its promotional email. It might also come in handy for those who have already started their Christmas shopping — but there is a catch.

Apple runs regular Apple Pay promotions (for customers in the U.S., at least) to encourage shoppers to sign up for and continue using its mobile payments service. Sometimes those promotions won’t save you much, but sometimes they’re pretty terrific.

This one certainly falls into the second category.

Get $25 off when you buy Oakley products with Apple Pay

Simply spend $100 or more at Oakley.com between now and October 24 and use Apple Pay at checkout and you’ll receive a $25 coupon.

You won’t get $25 off your order — the coupon will be emailed to you within two weeks — so expect to pay full price for your initial purchase. But still, this is a pretty great deal on a big brand, and it’s ideal for those who buy Oakley gear often.

Apple Pay now works with most credit and debit cards from “nearly all U.S. banks,” Apple says. You can use it on the iPhone SE, iPhone 6s or later, iPad Pro, the fifth-generation iPad or later, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 or later, and on Apple Watch.
