Tim Cook fought harder than any other Apple employee to make sure Donald Trump didn’t become president.

A study of all the political donations made by Apple employees found that Tim Cook contributed more than any other employee to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 election campaign with a $236,100 payment to the Hillary Victory Fund fundraising committee. Tim’s favoritism towards Democrats isn’t surprising, and the study found that an overwhelming majority of Apple employees are following his lead.

Despite hosting a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton and another for Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan, Apple clearly prefers Democrat organizations and candidates. GovPredict found that since 2004, 91% of Apple employee contributions have gone to Democrats, and 9% to Republicans.

The preference for Democrats is more pronounced among Apple employees in California where over 90% of contributions went to Democrats, whereas that number was only 74% for employees living outside the Golden State.

Hillary received the most amount of money from 2004 to 2018 with $1,816,568 in donations. Barrack Obama came in second with $788,350 while Bernie Sanders scored $137,961. Surprisingly, former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney had the fourth most donations, getting $55,920 in donations from Apple employees.

GovPredict also did study’s on the political donations from Amazon and Alphabet employees and found that they also heavily favor Democrats.
