The best Apple analyst in the game just dropped a huge report on all the new products coming out soon and there’s a lot for Apple fans to be excited about.

If you’ve been desperately waiting for Apple to come out with a new MacBook Air the wait might be over real soon. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says a cheaper MacBook Air is set to launch later this year, and he’s got some info on the 2019 iPhone too.

In a research note sent to investors today, Kuo says the 2019 iPhones will have “marked innovations.” It’s not clear yet which features will make it into the final product, but Kuo says he’ll know by September or October. iPads with Face ID are supposedly slated for launch later this year too.

2018 iPhones

Even though the iPhone X uses an OLED display, Kup predicts LCD-based models will outsell OLED display in 2019. The note obtained by MacRumors also says the cheaper 6.1-inch LCD iPhone for 2018 is set to launch in September. Production on those units started later than usual, but all three new 2018 iPhones should launch at the same time.

“In the high-end market, Apple’s real competitor is itself, which implies that it needs to offer new models that appeal to consumers to boost replacement demands. We attribute the iPhone’s slow growth in recent years to there being no significant replacement demands boosted by new models after the iPhone 6.”

The 6.1-inch iPhone could have mass appeal with its $600 – $700 price tag. It will essentially be a budget version of the iPhone X. A plus-sized iPhone X is also slated for the fall launch.

Apple Watch could get a larger display this year based on the report. Kuo also says he’s not worried about Apple being impacted by a trade war between China and the US because it plays an important role in both economies. However, Chinese consumers may start to reject Apple’s products due to anti-American sentiments.
