Buyers of the season four Battle Pass can now complete the week three challenges in Fortnite Battle Royale. There are seven altogether — four easy and three hard — which will earn you a total of 50 Battle Stars.

Here’s our guide to crushing each one.

The whole point of buying a Fortnite Battle Pass is so that you can unlock awesome skins, emotes, and free V-Bucks as you level up. And the fastest way to do that is to complete the daily and weekly challenges that reward you with Battle Stars.

Some of them are fairly simple — and some may have been recycled from previous weeks. But others are a little trickier. This guide explains each one, and offers some tips that might make completing each one just a bit easier.

Let’s start with the easy ones.

Watch a match replay — 5 stars

Like many of this week’s challenges, this one’s self-explanatory. All you have to do is use Battle Royale’s new replay feature to watch one of the games you’ve already played.

Sadly, you can’t do this on iOS, since the replay function isn’t available there. But on console and PC, you can access replays from within the Career menu.

Since all you have to do is watch a replay, this is the easiest challenge for this week. You’ll get five stars for doing very little.

Deal 500 damage with pistols — 5 stars

If you’re quick with your trigger finger, pistols can be hugely effective in Battle Royale, which makes this challenge relatively easy, too. And there are a couple of really effective ways to complete it.

One is to land in a busy area at the start of the game and pick up a pistol as quickly as possible. You should encounter plenty of opponents at close-range, which is when pistol kills are easy to come by. Tilted Towers is always teaming with people, while Lonely Lodge will be busy over the coming days as players land there to complete another one of this week’s challenges.

Another easy way to rack up pistol damage, if you’re finding this challenge difficult, is to play in duos and squads. Down an enemy with your weapon of choice first, then finish them off with a pistol when they can’t fire back.

Remember that you don’t need to get kills with a pistol — you just need to deal damage. It’s also worth bearing in mind that the revolver and the hand cannon — both of which deal a lot of damage and are decent at long-range — are classed as pistols.

Search 7 chests in Lonely Lodge — 5 stars

Searching chests sounds simple, but challenges like this one can be tricky because so many people land in the same area to complete them. If you find yourself getting killed before you’ve even had a chance to locate a chest, just wait.

Leave this challenge for a few days while everyone else rushes to complete it and you’ll find Lonely Lodge won’t be quite as popular. By the end of the week, fewer people will need to land there and you’ll find it easier.

When you do dive in (pun intended), you can use the map below from @TheSquatingDog, which shows the location of all chest spawns inside Lonely Lodge.

Search 10 rubber duckies — 5 stars

This challenge is simple, but it will take you a while to complete it since the rubber duckies are located across the entire map. But you can search as many as you like during each match, so you might be able to find more than one or two if you’re fast enough.

This map, courtesy of Fortnite Intel, shows the location of rubber duckies that have been discovered so far since the week 3 challenges went live.

Follow the treasure map in Salty Springs — 10 stars

We’re not sure why Epic considers these challenges “hard,” since all you have to do is locate a hidden item, but we’re not complaining. This is the easiest way to pick up 10 Battle Stars each week.

What’s great about this challenge is that you don’t even need to visit the treasure map in Salty Springs first. Simply visit the location shown in the short video below and claim the treasure.

Earn 2 sniper rifle eliminations — 10 stars

Sniper rifles deal so much damage that this challenge shouldn’t be too difficult — so long as you have relatively good aim. Simply locate the right weapon and start shooting (at enemies).

Sniper rifles are most effective in long-range gun fights. Build yourself a good base that gives you a decent view of the safe zone, peek out over the top, and find an enemy that would make for an easy kill. Those who stand still are easiest to hit with a sniper.

Headshots with a sniper are an instant kill, and the bolt-action rifles are the most powerful. However, if you’re aim needs work, you might prefer to use the semi-automatic sniper that lets you keep firing without reloading between each round.

Remember the hunting rifle is classed as a sniper, too.

Eliminate 3 opponents in Tilted Towers — 10 stars

You might choose to avoid Tilted Towers most of the time since it is overrun with people at the beginning of every game, but you’ll need to visit to complete this challenge.

Try to land on a rooftop and pick up weapons as quickly as possibly. Break through and make your way down through the building to find more loot. Enemies who landed on the ground or in other buildings will soon start to make their way up the stairs, so find a good position that gives you an advantage and pick them off as they come towards you.

Shotguns and submachine guns are most effective at close-range. The hand cannon and the revolver can also be deadly if you have good aim. If you find grenades or C4, you can throw them down stairwells to eliminate opponents on lower floors before they even get close. You can also lay traps in high-traffic areas that will eliminate opponents as they run past.

This challenge will be difficult for most players since Tilted is always so busy. If you don’t find a weapon quickly, you’ll be headed back to the lobby to start again. But keep trying and you’ll get those kills eventually.
